Helmy made reference to the launch of the national statistical report to follow up on the implementation of the 2030 sustainable development goals in Egypt, which is issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics on an annual basis.

He noted that Egypt rose nine ranks on the 2020 Sustainable Development Index to be 83rd among 166 states in 2020 up from 92nd among 162 states in 2019.
