This came in the first edition of a report on non-petroleum exports issued by the center.

The report said the non-petroleum trade deficit in the first quarter of 2021 receded by 5.0 percent in comparison with the previous quarter and by 2.1 percent in comparison with the same quarter in 2020.

The report said non-petroleum exports in the second quarter of 2020 decreased during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic by 20 percent to register $5.6 billion against dlrs 7 billion in the first quarter of 2020.
