CAIRO - 6 July 2017: Supply and Internal Trade Minister Ali Meselhi issued a decision on Thursday to stiffen penalties for traders who manipulate state-subsidized commodities.

Merchants selling subsidized commodities will either have their shops temporary closed or their licences withdrawn in case any violation was reported.

Any obstruction of campaigns carried out by the ministry on traders will be also punished.
