CAIRO – 17 August 2020: Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi received Monday the Military Defense Attaché at the United States Embassy in Cairo Ralph Grover.

 

Both defense leaders discussed ways of enhancing joint cooperation between both sides, with the possibility of exchanging expertise and manufacturing technology in various industrial fields.

 

During the meeting, Minister Morsi stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between military production companies in Egypt and American companies in various fields.

He further emphasized Egypt's keenness to strengthening and deepening the extended industrial strategic partnership with the United States of America, which represents an important pillar for maintaining security and stability in the Middle East region.

 

Regarding Egyptian-American military cooperation, General Ralph Grover, Military Defense Attaché at the United States Embassy in Cairo, affirmed that the bilateral relations between the two sides in the field of defense are “distinguished by a great history.”

 

Grover described the relations as "strong” as ever", and he expressed his aspiration to work together with the Egyptian side to face the challenges facing not only the two countries, but also facing the countries in the region.
