LNA spokesman uncovers Qatari document calling for sending Arab Maghreb fighters to Syria

BENGHAZI - 22 June 2017: Libyan National Army (LNA) spokesman Colonel Ahmed Al Mismari uncovered a Qatari document calling for sending fighters from Arab Maghrab states to Syria, according to the Arabic-speaking Sky News channel.

During a press conference, Mismari blew the whistle on documents proving terror elements' embroilment in murdering army officers.

The spokesman added that the armed forces are on alert and there is no coordination between the LNA and the coalition government under Fayez al Sarraj.

Libya has followed suit of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain that severed ties with Qatar over supporting terrorism.
