Colleague Mohammed Asaad, journalist for Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper, won the award of Mustafa and Ali Amin, the category of the investigative report for his investigations on the standard specifications of the powder of fire extinguishers in Egypt, and the danger it poses to users, published in Sawt al-Ummah newspaper.

Colleague Mohamed Asaad received the award after a series of investigations done by him on the standard specification for the powder of fire extinguishers in Egypt, which proved to be invalid and violated all international standards, and the risk it poses to the health of citizens, which was confirmed by the Supreme Administrative Court of the State Council after the publication of the investigation, the court confirmed the validity of everything that was included in the investigation and stated that the Standards and Quality Authority issued the standard to allow the production of multiple fire extinguishers in violation of all international and European standards, though its application would cause severe damage to users, in addition to proving their conformity with the specifications of countries which is not true, and the use of dry chemical powder extinguishers to combat 5 different types of fires, including metal fires, unparalleled in the approved scientific and technological sources, and are not produced by international companies considered specialized in fire extinguishers.

The standard has caused Egypt to become the only country that witnesses the production of fire extinguishers to deal with all types of fires, including metal fires, and the latter has warned all global parties of the danger of using them with fires of other groups, because they cause fires to explode and widen rather than extinguish them, and injure humans , causes blindness, skin erosion, respiratory destruction, and release of lethal phosphine gas.
