CAIRO, Feb 26 (MENA) - Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Ambassador Badr Abdel Aaty on Wednesday led the Egyptian side to the fourth session of joint political talks with Italy that was held in Rome.

Attending the meeting was Egyptian Ambassador to Italy Hisham Badr.

According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry, the two sides reviewed means of boosting bilateral relations especially at the economic and commercial levels in light of the fact that Italy is the first European trade partner of Egypt.

Also, the two sides discussed enhancing contacts between the business communities in both countries for exploring investment opportunities in Egypt for the Italian side as the Egyptian economy ranked third among the world's most growing economies.

Badr said that relations between the two countries are excellent at all levels. He confirmed that there are many investment opportunities for the Italian businessmen in Egypt.
