CAIRO, Jan 26 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry headed for Washington on Sunday to take part in the last round of the tripartite meetings grouping the foreign ministers of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia as regards the under-construction Renaissance Dam built by Ethiopia.

The meeting, sponsored by the US and the World Bank, will take place on Tuesday to agree on rules regulating the filling and operation of Ethiopia Dam.

The meeting was supposed to be concluded mid this month but the three sides failed to reach an agreement and decided to defer it to Tuesday.

The three countries remained deadlocked over way the dam will be filled with water during droughts.
