CAIRO – 26 December 2019: The big countries of the world started to feel the necessity to find a solution to the Libyan crisis and to seek stability of the Middle East, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said on Wednesday.

President Sisi said that stability and unity of Libya and the African country’s ability to have a legitimate government are in Egypt’s interests.

Concerning the issue of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, Sisi said that talks with Ethiopia and Sudan is going well and that Egypt seeks to reach a coordinating and binding agreement that would help keep damages to a minimum.

As he inaugurated an animal production complex in Middle Egypt’s Fayoum, Sisi hailed the role of the private sector and invited it to take part in the current projects. He affirmed that Egypt is able to deal with all challenges, thanks to stability and coherence.

Sisi said that the various animal production projects that the government began to implement 3 years ago aim to achieve a balance in the local market to maintain prices.

The Egyptian universities, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, should develop new strains of meat and milk in order to benefit citizens and small farmers within the framework of the Egyptian State's efforts in this field, Sisi said.

He stressed that this plan aims to produce all dairy products, even those that are imported from abroad.
