Egypt urges Arab justice ministers to enhance judicial cooperation to fight terrorism

CAIRO - 21 November 2019: Justice Minister Mohamed Hossam Abdel Rehim called on Thursday for taking necessary steps to enhance Arab cooperation to fight terrorism and foil attempts to offer any form of support to terrorists or any entity involved in terrorism.

Addressing the 35th session of the Arab Justice Ministers Council, Abdel Rehim underlined the importance of setting up national mechanisms to confiscate all funds channeled to terrorist organizations.

He called for introducing necessary amendments to the Arab Agreement for Counter Terrorism and activating bilateral agreements signed between Arab countries in the judicial and security domains.

He underlined the importance of the Arab draft agreement regulating conditions of refugees in Arab countries and the draft Arab Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Unlawful Interference against the Safety and Security of Civil Aviation
