GAZA CITY - 2 November 2019: A Palestinian young man was killed and many others were injured at dawn Saturday in a shelling launched by Israeli warplanes on several areas in the Gaza Strip.

Sites and property of the Palestinian citizens in the area were also damaged in the attack.

The 27-year-old Palestinian was killed by shrapnel from a rocket that targeted a site and a house near his home in the west of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.

Three others sustained various injuries in the attack with one of them reported to be in a serious condition, said the sources.

Israeli warplanes launched a series of air strikes against sites and property of the Palestinian citizens in various areas of the Gaza Strip, claiming that the attack comes in response to projectiles fired from the Gaza Strip on the settlements near it.
