French police arrest 30 'yellow vest' protesters

PARIS, Sept 21 (MENA) - French police arrested on Saturday 30 protesters participating in the rallies that were called for by the yellow vest movement and fired tear gas to disperse them, RT channel reported.

French authorities announced that about 7,500 police officers will be deployed in Paris in preparation for the yellow vest rallies that come in conjunction with a march against climate change in the French capital.

The yellow vest movement erupted 10 months ago against tax and fiscal policies in the country before being turned into protests against President Emmanuel Macron.
