CAIRO – 20 August 2019: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is racing against time to implement the directives of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to complete the Galala University by September 2019.

The university located at the city of Galala Mountain in the Red Sea area. Covering 19,000 feddans on the “al-Galala al- Bahareya”, which lies 700 meters above sea-level in the Red Sea area between Ain Sokhna and Zafarana. The Armed Forces Engineering Authority and more than 100 local civil companies are establishing an integrated city on the El-Galala Plateau.

Earlier, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar confirmed that the ministry identified the best required specializations in the new colleges and universities established through a study to meet the specialties required in the global, local and regional market.

In the bellow lines, et highlights some information about Galala University:

The university comprises 13 faculties in various scientific disciplines such as: engineering, management and public policies, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, science, food and food industries.

The university also includes the faculties of the arts, humanities and society, media, human medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, nursing and allied medical sciences.

The university accommodates 12 thousand and 750 students in its three stages.

The university contains an Academy of Sciences on the plateau of the Majesty on an area of 12 acres.

The university accommodates 5040 students, and includes many disciplines such as law and international arbitration, and the study of international trade and its mechanisms.

The university further includes disciplines of disaster and crisis management, nanotechnology, renewable and atomic energy, petrochemical industry sciences and marine science.
