CAIRO - 27 July 2019: Speaker of the Libyan parliament Aguila Saleh lauded on Saturday efforts exerted by security forces and the Libyan National Army (LNA), led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, to liberate and purge the capital Tripoli of armed militias and terrorist groups.

In statements to Al Arabiya news channel, Saleh said what the LNA is doing in Tripoli is a legal and right national mission.

Meanwhile, he condemned the practices of the Government of National Accord accusing it of targeting civilians and seizing the Libyan oil export revenues.

Earlier in the day, the LNA announced that it took control of Naqliya Camp in southern Tripoli.
