CAIRO - 18 July 2019: The Kemet Boutros Ghali Foundation for Peace and Knowledge hailed the establishment of the first "Knowledge Hub", titled the "International University Institution," in the New Administrative Capital.

In a statement on Thursday, the foundation said that this international academic institution will help in developing the education system in Egypt.

On Tuesday, the cabinet, under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, approved the "Knowledge Hub" project within the framework of the Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt Vision 2030.

The Knowledge Hub will house branches of different multinational universities located within the same campus.

It offers students an education which meets international standards, through techniques that are being used for the first time in Egypt.

In their Egyptian campus, the internationally accredited universities will offer students the chance of being taught the same curriculum students are taught in their native countries.

Coventry UK has reportedly been the first university to sign a partnership agreement to set up its branch in the new hub in the administrative capital.
