CAIRO, June 29 (MENA) - Cairo Criminal Court adjourned to July 2 the retrial of 22 co-defendants of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood leaders over spying charges and leaking classified documents on the Egyptian national security and the Armed Forces to Qatar.

The defendants are accused of spying for foreign organizations to harm Egypt's national security and colluding with armed organizations inside and outside Egypt to prepare for terrorist operations to undermine national stability.

The court of cassation accepted in November 2016 a challenge filled by the defendants in the previous trial, ordering the current retrial.
