TRIPOLI, June 8 (MENA) - The Libyan National Army started advancing towards the airport axis in the capital Tripoli, a Libyan military source said on Saturday.

In statements broadcast by Al Hadath channel, the source added that the army forces destroyed three vehicles belonging to the militia groups that support the accord government.

Fierce clashes are still ongoing in the area, amid remarkable progress by the Libyan army, the source noted.
