BENGHAZI - 26 May 2019: Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Khalifa Haftar accused some parties, including United Nations special envoy Ghassan Salame, of seeking to divide Libya, according the Arabic-speaking Sky News channel.

He pledged that Libya will not be divided as long as he is alive.

Haftar said Salame had changed, he was no longer impartial. “He keeps saying irresponsible things,” Haftar said. “From being an honest and impartial mediator, he has now taken sides.”
