Iraqi Prime Minister Mahdi said the main aim of his anticipated visit to Egypt is to serve the interests of his country and to discuss conditions in the region.

It was difficult to postpone the visit in spite of the sinking of a ferry in Mosul, AlSumaria news channel reported, citing a statement by the Iraqi prime minister.
