CAIRO – 3 March 2019: Deputy Planning Minister. Doctor Ahmed Kamal, accompanied by Major General Ahmed Ibrahim, Governor of Aswan, inspected Saturday a number of important sited in Aswan, including the proposed site for the establishment of the governmental services complex that will be built on international standards.

Egypt Today brings you 10 facts about the new complex:

1- The complex is the first of its kind. It is the very first governmental services complex that will be built to abide with international standards.
2- The complex shall be established by the Aswan Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, in addition to the Emirates.
3- The complex will be built over an area of 4,000 square meters.
4- The complex is located next to the Japanese schools in Aswan.
5- The complex has a parking lot to ensure that it does not cause traffic in neighbouring roads.
6- The complex aims to implement the one-stop shop system for both citizens and investors.
7- The applicant will obtain all the approvals from the relevant authorities and the ministers required at the same time.
8- Procedures are facilitated to reduce time and charges needed.
9- The UAE side shall be responsible for the design of the complex’s engineering designs, bearing the funding, training and experimental operation.
10- The complex will enable the most vulnerable citizens to obtain the services through an online system to reduce travel, and thereby costs on them.
