CAIRO - 25 December 2018: The Arab League (AL) has condemned in the strongest terms Tuesday's terror attack on the Libyan Foreign Ministry in Tripoli that killed three staffers and injured several others.

Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit extends the league's condolences to the Libyan government and people and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured, Spokesman Mahmoud Afifi said.

This heinous crime proves that terror has no limits when it comes to taking the lives of innocents, he said.

Terrorists seek to disrupt all efforts exerted to realize security and stability in Libya and to extend the Libyan crisis indefinitely, he said.

The current situation calls for more efforts at the international and regional levels to help the Libyan people overcome this crisis in a way that would guarantee the full establishment of security and stability across the nation, protect the country's territorial integrity and complete the establishment of state institutions, he added.
