CAIRO - 24 December 2018: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed that the independence of judiciary will remain a cornerstone of the society and fort of justice and constitution.

During his meeting with members of the council of Judicial bodies, Sisi expressed appreciation of Egypt's judges who shoulder responsibility of achieving justice through maintaining traditions of the Egyptian judiciary throughout ages.

Sisi stressed his keenness on enforcing the state of law in line with the articles of the constitution.

President Sisi stressed the importance of the council's role in continuing the process of developing the great Egyptian judicial system in order to cope with the requirements of achieving justice in light of the challenges currently witnessed by the country, said presidential spokesman Bassam Rady.

He further asserted that the judicial institutions shoulder great responsibility within the framework of the current construction process in order to promote the rule of law.

Sisi said he looks forward to getting acquainted with any obstacles that hinder the delivery of prompt justice, the spokesman underscored.
