VIENNA - 16 December 2018: The Austrian media outlets shed on Sunday light on the four-day visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Vienna, saying it is the first by an Egyptian leader in 11 years.

The Austrian news agency highlighted Sisi's acceptance of the invitation of Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen to visit the country for talks on boosting bilateral cooperation.

Sisi will also take part in the High-Level Africa-Europe Forum and hold talks with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and National Council Wolfgang Sobotka.

He will meet with a group of businessmen and investors on boosting economic cooperation.

"Die Presse" Newspaper reported that Austria is wrapping up its presidency of the EU by hosting the forum that will see the participation of a number of African and European leaders.

The forum, the paper said, will help enhance partnership between the two continents.

Sisi left Cairo earlier on Sunday for Austria to take part in the high-level Africa-Europe Forum, co-hosted by Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Kurz.
