CAIRO – 9 December 2018: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi announced on Sunday that his country would establish an investment risks guarantee fund to encourage Egyptian investors to set up investments in Africa and take advantage of the huge opportunities on the continent.

Sisi also added during his speech at the end of Africa 2018 forum in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh that his government established a national strategy to fight corruption in 2019, the new program will provide 250 scholarships for African cadres active in fighting corruption.

Several officials from Egypt and other African countries attended the last session of the forum. The forum included 10 African presidents and 2000 businessmen from all over the continent.
