CAIRO – 4 June 2018: Lebanese Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri said Lebanon’s forthcoming government needs to implement reforms to help the country pull through difficult circumstances at an Iftar (pre-sunset meal) hosted by the Future Movement Sunday, the Daily Star reported on Sunday.

"The world is waiting for serious reforms and bold decisions from Lebanon in order to help us, and we have no choice but to go through these reforms," he added.

Hariri said that while it may be painful to implement these reforms, it will produce positive results in the long-run.

"The people don't care if we add a minister or remove one, they want a team well-oiled that will work for the greater good and not focus on politics only," he said.
