CAIRO - 6 March 2018: The House of Representatives on Tuesday adopted a draft law setting up a fund for the martyrs and wounded in terrorist operations.

The draft was adopted at the general session under Speaker Ali Abdel Aal.

The law is applied to the martyrs, wounded and missing in terrorist attacks along with security and military operations.

The law is operable retroactively to the date of putting the constitution into force on January 18, 2014.

The fund will have a legal character and will have its main headquarters in Cairo while having branches nationwide.

The fund is aimed at honoring the martyrs and wounded along with the missing in terrorist operations and taking care of their families regarding education and health care along with other services.
