CAIRO - 4 November 2017: Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri has announced his resignation from his post, on Saturday, over fears of assassination.

Hariri, who was chosen as the Lebanese Prime Minister Since December 2016 added in his resignation letter that the current atmosphere in Lebanon is similar to the situation was prevailed before the assassination of his father Rafic Hariri in 2004.

“We cannot accept that Hezbollah’s weapon to be directed against the Lebanese and the Syrian,” he said, adding “the evil that Iran sends to the region will come back at it... Iran's hands in the region would be cut off.”
