ABU DHABI - 26 September 2017: Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday, received Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, and members of the official delegation accompanying him.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Iraqi Foreign Minister and discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in a way that serves the mutual interests of the UAE and Iraq, the WAM news agency reported.

They also discussed developments in both Iraqi and Arab arenas, as well as the current efforts to resolve crises in the region and overcome challenges such as extremism and terrorism.

They stressed the importance of co-ordination and solidarity among Arab countries to safeguard the region's security and stability. They also touched on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
