GENEVA- 16 September 2017:Egypt's mission to the United Nations in the Swiss city of Geneva organized a seminar on women's rights in Arab countries on the fringe of the 36th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (OHCHR).

The Egyptian mission under Ambassador Amr Ramadan organized the symposium in collaboration with Geneva Center for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue (GCHRAGD).

A number of experts in the field of women's rights and human rights attended the get-together alongside members of UN committees and Arab ambassadors, including the Egyptian and UAE ambassadors.

The talks focused on the challenges and obstacles facing women in the Arab world, such as gender equality.
