CAIRO - 25 August 2017: Qatari authorities blocked the free of charge service number which was dedicated to ‘serve Qatari people’ formed upon direct instructions by the Saudi Arabia King Salman following mediation efforts from Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al-Thani, Saud Al-Qahtany said on Friday.

Al-Qahtany, Saudi Royal Advisor, wrote on his official Twitter account that “The committee formed to serve the Qatari people has provided assistance to hundreds of Qataris including pilgrims and blood relatives to Saudi citizens.”

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain severed diplomatic relations with Qatar since June 5 upon charges of Qatari funds given to terrorist and extremist groups in the region.

Qatari regime has attempted to falsely allege baseless information about bad treatment to Qatari pilgrims during the Hajj by Saudi authorities. Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Sites King Salman, a free-of-charge line was dedicated to provide services to Qatari people and to deny the politicalization of Hajj.
