CAIRO, Sept 5 (MENA) - Deputy Director General of the Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) Mohamed Ibrahim stressed the importance of the State's continued efforts to improve the living conditions of the most needy people.

In an article published by Al Ahram newspaper, he urged Egyptians to continue supporting the political leadership, which spares no effort to serve the people's interests.

Egypt has a national political leadership with a comprehensive vision and integrated plan to move forward to be among modern countries despite any challenge facing it, he highlighted.

He said the Egyptian leadership is also working on maintaining national security.

He referred to several regional challenges that affect Egypt, noting that Egypt is addressing the issue of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), the Palestinian cause, as well as the conditions in Libya, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon.

He added that the political leadership has declared that the great Egyptian people are paying the price of economic reforms, therefore the State took measures to alleviate their burdens, particularly the most needy people.

He underlined the importance of the giant project of "Decent Life" that serves more than 60 million people, noting that the project will not stop despite the economic crisis.
