CAIRO – 30 December 2021: Egypt’s Presidential development initiative ‘Haya Karima’ was implemented nationwide, with its effect being felt by different cities.
Luxor governorate, in Upper Egypt, announced that the developments of the initiative included 318 projects at a financial cost of approximately L.E. 9.9 billion, and a number of 3,182 homes at a cost of about L.E. 2.4 billion.
Electricity projects and natural gas projects in Esna city in Luxor were remarkable as well, where work is underway to establish 13 service complexes, 58 youth centers, 40 schools, maintain 45 schools, and construct 21 bridges on canals and banks, with the development of all facilities in the two centers with a total implementation rate of 24 percent.
Haya Karima initiative is being implemented to improve the quality of life for citizens in the countryside and villages, and aims to provide utilities such as sanitation, water, electricity, communications, gas, etc.
Going to cities, expanding schools, replacing and renovating youth centers, the initiative is keen to meet all people’s needs in line with the government’s plan to implement projects.
The people in various parts of the villages targeted by the "Decent Life" initiative expressed their great happiness with the projects that have already started to work officially during the last period, thanking President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the government and the Governor of Luxor.
