Just when you thought we couldn’t possibly need another series channel, we get one more.
Just when you thought we couldn’t possibly need another series channel, we get one more. In celebration of its twentieth anniversary in 2011, the Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC) recently added a new specialized channel to its free-to-air bouquet on Nile Sat and Arab Sat. The new channel, MBC Drama, will compete with other Egyptian and Arab channels in airing a 24/7 collection of Arab series and soap operas, in addition to Mexican, Indian and Turkish content, all dubbed in Arabic of course. MBC Drama will be the tenth channel under the umbrella of the pan-Arab network that also includes MBC 1, MBC 2 and Al-Arabia among others.
