So revolution or not, the Muslim Brotherhood can't go from a group to a party under the same name.That's not to say that the same members can't form a party under a different name. Previously, potential parties had to apply for approval that rarely came from the state's Political Parties Committee (PPC).The PPC required applicants prove its party would add value to the political scene a clause that the opposition believed allowed the state to oppress them.
