During the meeting of the Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives, the Foreign Minister referred to exchanging views on the state's foreign policy, and developments in international policy regarding current issues, asserting the need for the international community to prioritize the Palestinian human rights’ file.

Shoukry explained that the peace negotiations may have witnessed a stalemate during the last period due to internal considerations in Palestine and Israel, as the Israeli government is experiencing instability, and Palestine is set to hold elections soon. This is in addition to the recent change that has occurred in the American administration that has a permanent influence on the negotiations.
