CAIRO – 3 July 2017: The speaker of the Hungarian parliament, László Kóvar, during his meeting with President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on Monday, said that he plans to visit Cairo in November for ongoing bilateral talks.

Kovar praised Egyptian-Hungarian relations, noting that it has witnessed a strong push during the past two years, as there have been mutual visits between both countries at various levels.

The Hungarian official expressed his country’s keenness to support Egypt’s efforts in achieving comprehensive development and consolidate democracy.
He also added that his country is ready to promote partnership with Egypt at various fields.

Kover praised the parliamentary relations that have improved in the light of the formation of the Joint Parliamentary Friendship Association in November 2016.

On his turn, President Al-Sisi welcomed Kovar’s visit to Egypt, with the aspiration of strengthening both countries’ relations.

The meeting further included discussion on regional issues and ways of confronting terrorism.

Al-Sisi headed to Hungary on Sunday for a two-day visit for talks with Hungarian leaders.
