CAIRO – 4 February 2021: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi visited the Military Academy early on Thursday to check up on the training activities assumed by the students.

The president was accompanied by Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki, Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid, and a number of senior commanders.

The training activities witnessed by Sisi are fitness exercises, use of motorcycles, confidence jump to pool, diving, assembling and disassembling of arms underwater. He also checked a number of training fields that were being upgraded, various barriers, horse riding arenas, and engagement fields.

The students also displayed the training they had received to pull vehicles using ropes, and climb mountains.

The president praised the level of proficiency of the students urging them to maintain a high degree of physical and mental fitness, and adopt noble military values for they would be capable of defending the homeland.

The president also greeted a number of the freshmen's parents while they were visiting their children. He expressed appreciation for the good upbringing they provided, and for embedding esteemed values and principles pertinent to the love of the homeland in their offspring.
