CAIRO – 10 January 2021: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi made 115 visits to 46 countries in 6 years from June 2019 to June 2020, according to a book by the State Information Service.

The book, released Sunday, documents Sisi’s visits and meeting during his six years of governance.

The president visited Saudi Arabia 12 times, Ethiopia seven times, and Sudan, China and New York six times. In terms of regions, he made 32 visits to Arab countries, 30 visits to Europe, 27 visits to Africa, 18 vsits to Asia and eight visits to the U.S.

He 1,000 meetings with world leaders in Egypt, and he is the only leader to participate in 27 summits regionally and internationally in one year from June 2019 to June 2020, six of which in video conference.

In that year he made 15 external visits to 12 countries in 4 continents where he held 64 meetings with world leaders and 96 meetings with world leaders who visited Egypt.

In June 2019-June2020 he visited Belorussia, Romania, Niger, France, Kuwait, U.S., Russia, UAE, UK, Ethiopia, and visited Japan and Germany twice that year.

The many meetings Sisi held include world leaders as well as international organization representatives, such as FAO, WHO, the World Bank and others.
