CAIRO – 28 November 2020: Egypt's Health Ministry said in a Friday statement that 351 new coronavirus cases were detected in the past 24 hours, upping the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 115,183.

 

The ministry added that 13 patients have died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 6,621.

 

As many as 100 patients were discharged from isolation hospitals after receiving necessary medical care, taking the number of recovered cases to 102,490 so far, the statement said.

 

A few days ago, the Ministry said that the ministry plans to start a new production line to manufacture the COVID-19 vaccine it’s proven effective.

 

“We plan to cooperate with the World Health Organization and the Sinovac Manufacturing Company as soon as the final results of the Chinese vaccine appear,” according to a statement by the ministry.
