Egypt opens Rafah border crossing in both directions for three days

CAIRO – 22 November 2020: The Egyptian authorities will open Rafah border crossing in both directions on Tuesday, for a period of 3 days, said the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip announced in a statement.
 
The General Authority for Crossings will publish travel details and statements at a later time, Ma’an news agency reported the spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in the strip.
 
Early November, the Egyptian authorities opened the crossing to passenger traffic for 4 days,.
 
The border has been closed to prevent the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic since March 2020.
