CAIRO – 18 November 2020: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi attended Tuesday part of the admission tests of military schools and colleges, accompanied by Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki and Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid.

 

The president said that the Egyptian Armed Forces selects its members from thousands of applicants in accordance with the highest scientific standards, transparency, impartiality, and integrity. He added that candidates admitted belong to various social segments as the priority goes to those who pass all tests, that are medical, psychological, athletic, and scientific.

 

President Sisi praised the quality of candidates, and their eagerness to join the Egyptian Armed Forces and defend the security and stability of Egypt.

 

The president discussed with candidates topics on Egyptian, regional, and international affairs as well as general information on Egypt's history and ongoing development in different sectors.

 

The president asserted that the students of military educational establishments along with those of civilian ones compose the hope and future of Egypt. He stipulated that the threats and challenges facing Egypt require producing generations equipped with right awareness of such issues.
