Egypt offers condolences to Romania for loss of COVID-19 patients in fire accident

CAIRO – 15 November 2020: Egypt expressed its deepest condolences and sympathies to Romania and the families of victims of a fire accident that occurred at a Coronavirus intensive care unit, said Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ahmed Hafez.
 
On his Twitter account, Hafez added that Egypt wishes speedy recovery of the injured people.
 
 
Ten COVID-19 patients were killed after a fire swept through an intensive care ward for coronavirus patients in a hospital in Romania on Saturday.
 
A doctor, who was on duty, was among of the victims. Seven other patients were injured and are in critical condition, Sky News reported.
