Light rain expected in Cairo, floods in Sinai, weather to remain warm during day

CAIRO - 1 November 2020: Rain is expected to fall on Cairo, the North Coast and some Upper Egyptian cities, but the weather is expected to remain warm in the morning and cool in the evening. 
 
Light rain is also expected in Cairo and some Upper Egyptian cities, although the weather is still expected to remain warm or slightly cool. In Cairo, the temperature is expected to be 27°C high and 20°C low, and 33°C high in Aswan, with the low at 21°C.
 
In the West, Matrouh and North Coast cities were soaked with rain Sunday morning, where locals welcomed the rain season with the beginning of cultivating wheat and barly.

Meanwhile at roads and highways, the governorate facilities began efforts to remove excess water.
 
In the east, thunderous rain is expected to fall on central and south Sinai, as well as the Red Sea mountain range that may amount to floods. 
 
In the south, five desert roads connecting Upper Egyptian governorates to Red Sea cities were closed on Sunday due to rains and sandy winds.
