Ayman Al-Gamil: October 73 heroes have changed Egypt's path, Sisi leading ‘new crossing’

 

CAIRO - 8 October 2020: “The national miracles that the heroes of Sixth of October victory have achieved in 1973 have completely changed the face of Egypt,” renowned businessman Ayman Al Gamil said on the occasion of the Sixth of October victory on Wednesday.

 

 "The historical victory has been achieved firstly by crossing from defeat to victory, restoring the Egyptian dignity and land, and laying strong pillars to build a new and modern state, which has been accomplished a few years after the war with the development of the economy, the growth in production and the successes in investments and development," he added.

 

Al Gamil further added that similar accomplishments are being repeated today through a new ‘crossing battle’ led by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to rebuild Egypt and plan its path to the future, in a way that consolidates its regional and global presence. 

 

The economic performance indicators following June 30 Revolution have recorded a continuous rise at a steady pace, which helped the state complete a large number of mega national projects, support national investments and industrialization, and unleash the capacities of vital sectors of agriculture, agro-industrialization, and manufacturing industries, in addition to developing education and health sectors, and realizing significant discoveries in oil and gas, he said.

 

“All these successes can be considered a ‘new crossing’ for the Egyptian nation. And just as the Sixth of October Battle has been a starting point by freeing the land and expelling the enemy, the State after June 30 [uprising] has been able through the public revolution of 2013 to expel another enemy of terrorist groups, and to found a new path of construction of the development,” Al Gamil stated.
