CAIRO – 21 September 2020: Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly convened Monday members of his cabinet to discuss some of the current projects carried out in Cairo, the New administrative capital, and other Egyptian governorates.
Madbouly said during that meeting that included Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Housing and Urban Communities, and several governors, that President Abdel Fatah al Sisi issued directives to have Al-Asmarat housing project carried out in other Egyptian governorates, in order to improve the quality of life of citizens living outside Cairo.
Madbouly viewed during the meeting lands that could be suitable for such a project. The lands fulfill the requirements for a decent life for citizens.
President al Sisi inaugurated in July the third stage of Al-Asmarat housing projects in Cairo, the project was launched to house residents of the slums.
