CAIRO -8 June 2020: "We will not concede the departure of the Turkish invaders and their mercenaries from Libya," Field Marshal KhalifaHaftar, the general commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), said on Tuesday.

Haftar added that Turkish aggression threatened the unity of Libya and the stability of the region, explaining that Turkey and terrorism threaten the Libyan sovereignty.

In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Haftar paid tribute to Arab countries, particularly the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, for their categorical rejection of Turkey’s intervention.

He added that “Our war against Turkey will not stop until we liberate all of Libya”.

Earlier, the leader of the Libyan National Army said that Turkey practiced its barbaric aggression against Libya by establishing operation rooms as well as sending its officers, mercenaries, and weapons to fight the Libyan army.

He added, during a speech, that Turkey looks to control the wealth and capabilities of Libyans to address its economic crises.

Turkey is practicing its occupation methods and is working to infirtlateLibya, despite the armed failure it is facing day after day, as it announced sending a technical team to Libya to put forward a proposal to supply the west of the country with electricity.

ZainabHarazi, head of the commercial sector in the Karadeniz Holding Company, told Reuters that the company intends to send its team to Libya within weeks and may start supplying electricity to western Libya within 30 days.

Harazi said that the company supplied electricity through the five ports in western Tripoli, and Misrata, adding that the infrastructure will be evaluated so that an integrated proposal can be presented.

It is worth noting that one of the company’s proposals is to use fuel to sell electricity.

Libya has been mired in chaos since the 2011 NATO-backed uprising that killed longtime dictator Muammar Gaddafi.
