Sisi removes Vice-President of the State Lawsuit Authority from his position

CAIRO - 25 June 2020: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued Resolution No. 357 of 2020 to dismiss Jude Mohamed Sabry Ahmed Taksira, the Vice-President of the State Lawsuit Authority (SLA), from his position.

The decision, which was published in the official gazette Al-Waqa'i' al-Misriyya, was based on a decision of the SLA disciplinary board and on what was submitted by the Minister of Justice.

The decision did not reveal any further information about the reasons behind the removal of the judge.
