CAIRO, June 23 (MENA) – Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli Tuesday chaired a meeting to review efforts to restructure the administrative body.

Attending the meeting were Hany Mahmoud, the premier’s advisor for administrative reform and chairman of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration (CAOA) Saleh el Sheikh.

Sheikh reviewed efforts exerted over the past period to merge administrative structures of similar positions at the different state institutions and ministries.

He cited the merging of the coinage and public treasury departments into one authority. Taxes and sales were also included in one entity, Sheikh added.

For his part, Mahmoud said meetings are still being held with the aim to coordinate efforts among the different bodies to improve the doing-business performance.

Madbouli pressed for further action to reform the administrative body before relocation to the New Capital.
