Egypt, Belarus discuss cooperation in higher education

CAIRO, June 17 (MENA) - Minister of Higher Education Khaled Abdel Ghaffar conferred with Belarus Ambassador to Egypt Sergei Terentyev, via video conference, on means to boost cooperation between Egypt and Belarus in the fields of higher education and scientific research.

In a statement of the Ministry of Higher Education, Abdel Ghaffar asserted Egypt's keenness on promoting cooperation with Belarus, adding that inking an executive program between the higher education ministries in both countries in February, aim at activating cooperation between the Egyptian and Belarus universities.

Abdel Ghaffar pointed out to the importance of benefiting from the Belarus experience in the field of information technology.

Meanwhile, Terentyev lauded the development witnessed in the Egyptian-Belarus ties, adding that his country is looking forward to more cooperation with Egypt in the different domains.
