Defense Minister praises sacrifices of martyrs

CAIRO_ June 24 2017: Minister of Defense and Military Production Sedki Sobhi said the army would not forget its martyrs who sacrificed their lives to preserve the country.

Sobhi's remarks were made during his meeting with officers of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority after he, along with the Military Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazy, had an iftar banquet with them.

The minister pointed out to the sacrifices made by military personnel to safeguard Egypt's borders, fight terrorism, and support the state's comprehensive development plans.
